The Rattan Quercus is a heavy-duty fat tire electric bicycle designed for urban cargo transport and mixed-terrain riding. A precision torque sensor measures pedaling force in real-time, delivering motor assistance proportional to rider input for smooth, natural power response across varying load conditions.

The drivetrain is built around a 750W sustained / 1500W peak Shengyi brushless hub motor producing 80Nm of torque. A 48V 20Ah battery using Samsung 21700 cells provides a range of up to 80 miles per charge. The frame supports an optional second 20Ah battery, extending range beyond 100 miles by toggling between the two units — no simultaneous discharge required.

The reinforced frame and integrated magnesium alloy wheels are engineered for a 450 lb payload capacity. Magnesium alloy wheels are cast as a single solid piece, eliminating spoke maintenance and providing the rigidity needed for consistent heavy-load performance. A heavy-duty integrated rear rack is included as part of the frame — more structurally stable than bolt-on options and compatible with panniers, baskets, or a passenger seat.

Stopping power is handled by front and rear 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with a response time under 0.1 seconds. An adjustable hydraulic suspension fork manages surface compliance across pavement, gravel, and sand. The 20" x 4.0" Kenda fat tires provide traction stability under load on loose and uneven surfaces.

A full-color LCD display with USB charging port connects via mobile app for navigation, vehicle positioning, and adjustable power settings. Integrated safety lighting includes an automatic headlight, brake light, and turn signals built into the rear taillight.
