The Rattan LF Ultra is a folding fat tire electric bicycle built for long-distance and heavy-duty riding. A 1000W sustained / 1800W peak brushless gear hub motor pairs with a 40.5Ah (1944Wh) battery system — approximately three times the capacity of a standard ebike battery — providing a range of 80 to 120 miles depending on assist level, rider weight, and terrain.

A full dual suspension system combines a front suspension fork with rear shocks, absorbing surface impacts across uneven terrain and reducing rider fatigue on extended rides. The 20" x 4.0" CST puncture-resistant fat tires provide traction stability on gravel, sand, and pavement. Integrated alloy wheels are cast as a single solid piece, eliminating spoke maintenance and providing rigidity under the higher torque loads of a 1000W drivetrain.

The step-through frame accommodates a second passenger seat, with the frame rated for a 300 lb payload capacity. Stopping power is handled by dual 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with automatic motor cutoff on brake engagement. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain manages gear selection, with a half twist throttle and switchable cruise control available for long-distance cruising.

The frame folds in four steps in under 15 seconds, allowing the bike to be stored in a vehicle trunk or closet. The battery is removable and anti-theft locked, allowing indoor charging independent of the bike. A large LCD display provides ride data and assist level control. The included 4.5A fast charger brings the 40.5Ah battery to full charge in 7 to 8 hours.

Integrated front and brake lights are included, along with a safety tether.
