The Rattan LM Ultra is a high-step folding fat tire electric bicycle built for long-distance and heavy-duty riding. The high-step aluminum alloy frame provides a more rigid feel compared to step-through configurations, suited to riders who prefer traditional bicycle geometry. A 1000W sustained / 1800W peak brushless gear hub motor pairs with a 48V 40.5Ah (1944Wh) battery system, providing a range of 80 to 120 miles depending on assist level, rider weight, and terrain.

Suspension is handled by a dual system combining a front suspension fork with a specialized seatpost suspension unit, absorbing road vibration across extended rides on uneven surfaces. The 20" x 4.0" CST fat tires include a puncture-resistant liner for traction stability on sand, snow, gravel, and pavement. Integrated alloy wheels are cast as a single solid piece, eliminating spoke maintenance and providing the structural rigidity needed under the higher torque loads of a 1000W drivetrain and multi-rider payload.

A rear passenger seat and footpegs are included as standard, with the frame rated for a 300 to 400 lb payload capacity depending on build configuration. Stopping power is handled by dual 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with automatic motor cutoff on brake engagement. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain manages gear selection, with switchable cruise control accessible through the LCD display for maintaining steady speeds on long-distance routes.

The frame folds in under 15 seconds for storage in a vehicle trunk, RV, or apartment. The 48V 40.5Ah battery charges fully in 7 to 8 hours using the included 4.5A fast charger. An NFC-enabled LCD display provides ride data, assist level control, and settings access.
